Despite all the cooking we did, Thanksgiving Day was a pretty laid back day for us.

Caius watched a few movies. He gets emotionally attached to the characters, and when something bad happens to them, he is very worried. He has even come close to shedding a tear or two in his concern for them.

Caius and Grandpa went on a walk in the snow! Caius LOVES his hat and mittens.

Ok, so I laughed when I read that Caius gets attached to characters in movies. Hailey does the SAME thing! She watched Curious George the other day and he traded his cart thing for a jar of something or other from a friend and then he was sad when he couldn't get his cart back and Hailey started crying. A lot. I had to console her and tell her it would be ok! Anyway, it's funny how kids can sometimes be similar.

What a spread! I'm very impressed with all of the food. It looks amazing! I love that picture of Caius watching TV. You can tell he's totally absorbed in the show he's watching. My kids totally get attached to characters in shows they watch or stories we tell them. It's fun to watch them.
