Provo, Utah
I know it has been months since I posted! I'm sorry!!! We have been busy, busy, busy.
First of all, we moved! We had been planning for Neal to back to school full-time and we decided to come back to Provo and BYU. Neal will be starting school in January. Instead of moving in the middle of the winter, we thought it would be safer and easier to come before the snow. We are excited to be back! We are all settled in and unpacked now.
Neal turned 23 on September 11th, and we celebrated with his family in Sioux Falls. His prized gifts were the iPod Touch and accesories from me, Caius, and Sophie and the "Planet Earth" series from his parents.
Caius had his first cold last week. He spent one day sleeping and being lethargic, but was back to his normal smiley self the next day despite having a runny nose and being congested. I got sick shortly afterward, and then Neal caught it too. We realize that this is how life will be now that we have a family. At the same time that I got sick, my wisdom teeth started to come in more. There is no room in my mouth for four more teeth! So needless to say I have been in pain. On Saturday I am going to Dr. Wisdom Teeth to have them removed!! I have needed to get them out for about 2 years now, but they always fell to the bottom of our financial priority list. So I am excited to finally be getting them out! For this week I have been on a diet of foods that don't need chewing because my wisdom teeth are pinching the skin on the side of my mouth, so I can't bite down at all. I am sick of soup and yogurt and water...I can't wait until Saturday!
We are enjoying Utah. We really like our ward so far. There are so many babies! It is fun to see babies a little younger or a little older and compare their sizes. We attended our ward Halloween party a few days before Halloween. Neal was Dr. Victor Frankenstein, I was a black cat, and Caius wore a yellow duck suit from Aunt Rachel. It was warm and fuzzy, so Caius took a nice nap during the party.
I promise to keep up with blogging now that we are settled!
