Caius on the GO!

Caius loves crawling around in strange places. For some reason he is drawn to the kitchen. When I do dishes, he comes and uses the door of the dishwasher to help him stand up. (Our dishwasher doesn't work, so we use it as a drying rack.) He thinks it is funny to when he gets splashed a little by the water. He also examines the scratches and gashes in the linoleum on our kitchen floor. I used to worry about all the germs he was going to pick up by crawling around on the floor, but now...whatever. It's my new motto.
We were getting ready to take Neal to school, so we put Caius in his warm winter suit, and let him roam while we put our coats on. He crawled under his saucer and lounged around until we were ready.
For Neal's marriage and family class he was assigned to plant and nurture a mustard seed. Here is the sprout Neal was so thrilled to see last week! (He is really taking this seriously!) The other night, Cai was exploring the living room and found this interesting mug full of brown stuff, and delved in. Luckily he took the sprout out with a chunck of dirt, and so we were able to just stick it back in the mug and it seems to be okay. I am just glad Caius didn't eat any of it!
This is how Caius crawls. On his hands and feet...like Sophie. What a strange and talented child we have.
