Caius is really growing up fast. In the past couple of weeks he has showed us that he comprehends most of what we say to him. He can use sign language to say, "more" "food" and "all done." He is still giving kisses and hugs, and when we say, "Be sooo gentle..." he will stroke our faces. He says lots of words but won't say them if we ask him to. But he does say "hi" every morning, and when I give him my cell phone he puts it anywhere on his face, mostly on the top of his head, and says, "hiiii!" Then he carries on a very interesting sounding conversation. Caius loves to go outside to play. He is a steady walker, and likes the grass now, so he walks all over the yard, and the deck. He plays with the neighbor children while all the mom's talk outside.
Caius is very good at entertaining himself. He walks in a figure eight around our dinner table in the kitchen/living room. He can do it for hours! He stops to get in to things he shouldn't a lot. Someday we will have a house with a big room with nothing but safe toys and padded walls in it.
