Thanksgiving was SO busy for us this year! We had company coming and going all week. Our thanksgiving day was pretty busy for me. I spent the whole day cooking. I spent entirely too much time cutting out little leaves to make my pumkin pies look a little more appealing. They turned out much prettier and much tastier this time around. :)
This is our thanksgiving table. (No, we didn't just eat turkey and rolls. The rest of the food was on the countertop.) This was my first attempt at cooking a turkey....or any whole bird. I put it on the platter upside down, so poor Neal who was already unsure about how the heck you cut in to a turkey, was baffled about why he couldn't find any meat. After turning the turkey the right way, we found plenty of meat, and it didn't taste too bad.
