Project365 Update

I decided to include in the project, photos of myself OR anything that is important, lovely, or memorable to me. I am excluding any pictures of my Littles for this project, unless I am also in the picture. This is a lot harder than I expected! I almost gave up because I missed so many days, but thought I should press on. I'm glad I did because it has helped me meditate introspectively. As a mother and wife I devote most of my time to other people. This past year has been the beginning of self discovery for me. Just the beginning. By capturing moments or objects which I want to remember, I am creating a photo journal of my very own personal thoughts, and I could write a short story or a novel about each of them.

The theme of these collages is Spring. We have been clearing out old foliage, to make room for the new. I love having new buds and blooms. We have been making plans for a garden for over a year now and finally we started it. We also have a compost and I have been surprised that so much of our garbage can be composted. For Easter we got a trampoline and it has been SO MUCH FUN for all of us!

Fruit Salad. YUM. I have a lot of childhood memories surrounding fruit salad. We are planting a few different melons and berries in our garden and the boys are especially excited for those to grow. The picture on the bottom is of the blisters on my heels. I am breaking in new dance shoes and they are super stiff. I've tried moleskin, blister bandages, etc. I just keep getting blisters on top of blisters!

Finally an update! I was beginning to wonder if you gave up on the 365 thing. Planting a garden sounds like so much fun. I want to someday, but we would need to build a fenced in area first to keep the dogs out because Jack is a digger. Jerrick looks so much like Caius! Cute cute cute!

Glad to see you are taking you time. It is a wonderful thing to be able to stop and look at things that are about you and not just those you love. What a fun little family you have and I am happy to see updates. :)
