November!
In order to prepare for Thanksgiving, I made a pumpkin pie! I am glad I practiced, because it wasn't terrible, but we aren't exactly scarfing it down. And good pies get scarfed! So I think my next attempt will be better...and hopefully a little prettier...

Caius is almost 16 months old. He is getting to be such a big boy. He is becoming more and more interested in trucks and balls. Today he learned how to walk backward and scare Neal and I by almost running in to things. He thinks it is funny!

Neal recently took an exam which he seemed a little worried about. The day after the test he was contacted by his professor who asked if it would be alright to use Neal's essay questions as examples of good essays for the rest of the class. His professor also mentioned that Neal's score on the test was "insane". He was relieved by this news. Neal is often singled out as a wonderful student by his professors. I am so proud of him!
